But now it’s time for me to go…
The last few days in and around Golden have been golden! Accomplished a good bit on the camper, such as figuring out why the 12 volt system did not work off of the battery, trying the onboard water tanks, installing screens, and doing a huge organization of our stuff (honestly we just threw all our crap in the car and camper when we departed, been busy ever since) Today however, we went to an awesome place called Thompson Falls…. Afterwards we went to lunch… Poor Maggie does not understand Glass tables! (She did eventually eat the curly fry)
For the evening we travelled up 15 kilometers to the top of Mount 7. This was a popular paragliding and hang gliding launch.
Tomorrow we head towards Jasper, and get to drive the Icefields Parkway and see the massive Columbia Icefield/glacier!
